Nam Ha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Nam Ha Pharma) accompanied and sponsored the National Lung Hospital and the National Tuberculosis Program to commemorate World TB Day at the International Convention Center, Hanoi on March 24th, 2023. 

The event once again proved Nam Ha Pharma commitment to showing its devotion. sharing responsibility to society and the community.

According to a report by the National Lung Hospital, on average, more than 14,000 people die from tuberculosis every year. In 2021 alone, 169,000 people got illness and 12,000 died from this disease. The cost of paying for tuberculosis patients is also a huge burden for the health sector as well as many families, especially those in the poor and nearly poor living conditions.

World TB Day is held on the 24th of March every year to raise public awareness about the serious effects of tuberculosis on people’s health, economy and society, and simultaneously accelerating efforts to eliminate tuberculosis globally.

Nam Ha Pharma is currently owning a number of products which can treat pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis in adults, namely Turbezid, Turbe and Pyrazinamide which are all used in the National Anti-tuberculosis Program. This is a great success of  the company, and contribute to ensuring an adequate and timely supply of anti-tuberculosis drugs for the patients.
