During November 18th and 19th, 2022, the National Lung Hospital held a scientific conference at the International Convention Center (Hanoi) to celebrate its 65th anniversary establishment and development. Nam Ha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Nam Ha Pharma) is pleased to be the co-sponsor and companion of this program.

This year’s conference theme is 65 years of National Lung Hospital – Aspirations against tuberculosis. The professional issues discussed there were: The impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the strategy to end tuberculosis in Vietnam; Update on diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases; lung transplantation progress in Vietnam; comprehensive treatment and management program for lung cancer. On November 19th, the conference summarized the National Tuberculosis Program and organized a specialized training seminar on tuberculosis and lung disease.

Tuberculosis prevention has always been paid great attention by the Communist Party and the Government of Vietnam. The National Tuberculosis Program, which was established by the Vietnamese Government in 1994, marked a new era of focusing resources to battle tuberculosis. Since then, the program has made many outstanding achievements, and has been actively participated by all levels of the government, mass organizations, and socio-economic organizations.

In response to this practical and meaningful program, Nam Ha Pharma has actively participated in and supported The National Tuberculosis Program for many years, contributing to the treatment process for patients.

After over 60 years of development, Nam Ha Pharma always upholds the mission of taking care of Vietnamese people’s health, in which tuberculosis prevention is also one of its top concerns.
